MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Nathan Pumulo
Physicist

Physics has always been my passion, driving me to explore, research, and teach the subject at various academic levels. My journey began at the University of Zambia, where I majored in physics and received a Staff Development Fellowship. I later earned my first master’s degree in physics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, specializing in open quantum systems while working as a teaching assistant.

To further expand my expertise, I pursued a second master’s degree in physics at South Dakota School of Mines in the United States, where I also gained valuable experience as a teaching and research assistant. Over the past decade, I have taught physics at the University of Zambia and Colorado Mesa University, helping students build a solid understanding of the subject through engaging instruction and problem-solving strategies.

Currently, I am in the final stages of defending my PhD in theoretical physics, with a research focus on ferroelectric materials. With over a decade of experience in teaching and research, I am dedicated to helping students master physics concepts and develop strong analytical skills. My mission is to inspire and mentor future scientists and engineers, providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in their academic and professional endeavors.
